THE Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra's ninth season is set to end in fitting fashion with a full performance of Richard Strauss' epic Ein Heldenleben – on the conductor's 150th birthday, no less. Chief Conductor Gudni Emilsson is joined by German pianist Bernd Glemser (pictured), who will also present Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3. Performance starts on Sept 19 at 7pm; on Sept 20 at 4pm.
