WTF Café & Gallery
IN a bid to explore the boundaries of art, WTF has invited 13 non-artists to create artworks under the theme of “Wonderful Thai Friendship II”. Among the participants are Gene Kasidit, singer-songwriter; Sanya Souvanna Phouma, club owner/restaurateur; and Christopher Wise, photographer/bar owner. Is it still art if it is created by non-artists who understand themselves as such? Just one of the questions to ponder while viewing the surprising results (including seven art installations, two photography sets, two video installations and two paintings).
