Maggie Choo’s is once again spending the night away from home, this time at the exquisite ABar, at Bangkok’s Marriott Marquis Queen's Park. Maggie Choo’s will takeover ABar from 20:00 hrs. to 02:00 hrs on Saturday 30th November 2019.
ABar transports guests to a bygone era of old London sophistication, with classic dark woods, wingback chairs and smoky leather bound sofas, providing a cozy atmosphere in which to unwind while overlooking the spectacular Bangkok skyline and Benchasiri Park.
For one night only, ABar opens its doors to indulge the imagination in a little fantasy, and bring to life 1930’s Shanghai in a sophisticated London setting. Maggie Choo’s will come roaring with their Shanghainese girls, blues band, disco DJ and asian-infused cocktails. Maggie Choo’s cabaret will entertain guests with their 1930’s fashion and fan dances. Blues band - Benz Blues - will rock guest with renditions of ‘Mustang Sally’ and a mean little ditty of ‘Mary Had A Little Lamb’ from 21:00 - 12:00hrs. DJ Jamie Fisher will drop some soulful disco to bring up the tempo and lead you into the night till 2:00hrs. Guests will enjoy the 1930's Shanghai cabaret fashion and spectacular fan performance from Maggie Choo’s girl.

The gentlemen bartenders at ABar will be serving up cocktails from Maggie Choo’s Asian-infused signature cocktail menu. L’Amour De Choco, Rum in Tea, Black – Blood and Red in Town, while ABar - not to be out done - presents its signature cocktails. A Case of mistaken identity, based off the classic Tom Collins cocktail, made famous as a practical joke among bartenders of the late 1800’s. Tuxedo, this intense martini cocktail was first invented in a town called Tuxedo, New York during the late 1800’s. Last but not least Yorkshire Spritz, the fictitious birthplace of Sherlock Holmes. Drinks are priced at THB 320++.
