ALDO’s Bistro is hosting another of its popular ‘Wine Talks’ at its Sommelier Corner on Tuesday, May 16. On this occasion, featured wines are from France, and include Champagne Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve NV. Chef Herve Frerard will create a five-course menu to complement the wines, including Oysters, Alaskan Crab, Hokkaido Scallops and Australian Lamb Rack, ending with Savarin Cheese, plus coffee and tea. Specially selected wines will include Stephane Ogier Condrieu Combe de Malleval 2015, Chateau Latour-Martillac, Pessac-Leogan 2010 and Van Zellers 20-year-old Tawny Port. On hand to explain the wines’ background and characteristics will be Khun Jaruwan Kaset, Best Sommelier 2010. The cost of this exceptional evening is 3,650 net.
