David Kramer artwork on pieces and invitation fusing images culled from everyday sunsets to parodies of advertisements, artist David Kramer address each artwork with biting humor or melancholic tones. Kramer’s text are the combination of his own meditative thoughts while tackling the process of painting, or they are skimmed from his own conversations, navigating the day to day banter he is participating in on the streets of New York city. The text in Kramer’s work is informed by the contradictions of the aspirations of the American dream, and the self-deprecating realization that even if dreams do come true, they still don’t look the same when you are awake. David Kramer was born in New York city where he currently lives and works. His work, which spans medium between painting, drawing, installations and video, has been exhibited widely throughout north America and Europe. His work has been exhibited at the Whitney museum of contemporary art, the Brooklyn museum of art, Maison rouge, and Musée Georges Pompidou and other institutions. He is represented in Paris by Galerie Laurent Godin.
Andre Butzer artwork on pieces André Butzer's work is characterized by an intensive exploration of the limits and possibilities of the medium painting, while the artist develops a strong personal universe. André Butzer initially created expressive pictures of intense colours, marked by an artificially exaggerated reality; then an increasing abstraction prevailed, occasionally interspersed with figurative elements, while some of his recent paintings, the n-bilder, concentrate on the energetic force of an elaborated contrast of maximum pictorial means. Apparently laid down in series, these works moreover manifest their own status of being non-transferable determinations.
The art is available at Celine store on February 2020 onward
