The Lobby Lounge is once again offering all food lovers an exclusive dining experience with an award-winning Japanese set menu of “Iron Chef Thailand” television fame. The menu is specially created by Chef Poramet “Muy” Prasansak, the Iron Chef in the category of Japanese food. The award-winning chef iss ready to excite the palates of diners with his mouthwatering Japanese dishes served in a chill-out atmosphere. Chef Poramet Prasansak, Executive Sous Chef of Bangkok Marriott Hotel the Surawongse, has gained extensive cooking experience from his stints in many countries. His specializes in bringing Asian vibes to European cuisine. His expertise in adapting classic Japanese dishes for modern presentation has earned him the moniker “King of Modern Japanese Cuisine”. Recently the chef took part in a cooking competition in the TV show “Iron Chef Thailand” in the category of Japanese food and eventually earned the much-coveted title with his winning dishes that garnered overwhelming applause. |
The Lobby Lounge invites gourmets to experience Chef Poramet’s passionate flair through his three-course set menu.
Titled “First Kiss”, the first course features scallops with sour and salty Ponzu jelly, with salmon’s roe adding to the dish’s texture. The second course, “The Secret of Okinawa”, is wagyu beef curry. To create this dish, the chef uses beef cheeks braised with hot spices in the style of Okinawa. The dish comes with rice and lava egg.
