Tasting menus for lunch and dinner from 27 February to 3 March at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok
Michelin-rated French chef Richard Toix will be starring as guest chef at The Reflexions, in The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, from 27 February to 3 March 2019, when he will be presenting a selection of tasting menus for both lunch and dinner.
Lunchtime will feature a three-plate menu at THB 1,500++ and THB 2,400++ with pairing wines, and a five-plate menu at THB 2,000++ and THB 3,500++ with wines.
The dinner degustation menu is for seven plates at THB 3,600++, and THB 5,200++ with wines; and nine plates at THB 4,200++ and THB 5,900++ with wines paired.
A recipient of numerous awards including a Large Table award from the Chateaux and Hotels Collection by Alain Ducasse, and three toques from the Gault et Millau guide, Chef Toix’s Passions et Gourmandises restaurant in Poitiers, France, was given a star rating in the Michelin Guide.
After running the restaurant with great success for many years, Richard Toix and his wife Laure sold it in a well-publicised handover last year to investigate the exciting opportunities in Asia. The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok is one of their first presentations subsequent to embarking on their travels.
Amongst the courses that will demonstrate Chef Toix’s Michelin-rated talents will be shrimp carpaccio, foie gras ravioli with passion fruit, red mullet with frog and lotus, and duck from the tajine.
