Loy Krathong revellers can avoid the traffic jams around the river and klongs during the evening of Thursday 22 November by visiting Ginger restaurant at Holiday Inn Bangkok, which is preparing a special BBQ station poolside along with its regular dinner buffet, and providing dinner guests with a krathong to float in the hotel pool.
Families at this children-friendly restaurant can enjoy traditional Thai food along with international dishes, plus the BBQ specials that will include chicken, beef and pork satay, BBQ meat balls, pork sausage and deep-fried fish, along with peanut sauce, barbecue sauce, and spicy dips. A som tam station is included.
Price is at Baht 550++ per adult, with the children’s price at Baht 275++ for those between six and 12 years. The price includes one krathong for every two guests.
Ginger is Holiday Inn Bangkok’s all-day restaurant on the hotel lobby level, serving Thai and international cuisines indoors, and also al fresco by the poolside.
