Jeff Ramsey, the Japanese-American chef whose ground-breaking restaurant Babe in Malaysia has won multiple awards, will be starring at award-winning French restaurant The Reflexions, The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, from 20-24 March 2019.
Chef Jeff will be presenting a form of interactive dining, treating guests to a display of French cooking in which Japanese elements are combined.
Seating will be at the bar counter of The Reflexions, with the counter acting as a mini-kitchen for final preparation, and allowing chef and guests to discuss the ingredients and techniques.
Space is necessarily limited, with room for only 12 guests per sitting. This allows one lunchtime round, priced at THB 2,980++, and two rounds for dinner, at 06:30 P.M. and 08:30 P.M., each of which lasts for one-and-a-half hours and is priced at THB 4,800++. Wine pairing options are available.

Jeff was born in Japan, the son of an American Air Force officer and his Japanese wife. He began his culinary training in 1996 by working as a dishwasher at a taco grill in Bethesda, at Maryland in the US.
He then trained in Japan with Masayoshi Kazato, the official Sushi Ambassador of Japan, becoming the first non-Japanese Master Sushi Chef.
Jeff then took a culinary detour and left the sushi world to broaden his perspective and gain knowledge of other techniques in order to develop an original style.
He was selected by Japanese super-chef Hide Yamamoto to open ‘The Molecular Bar Restaurant’ in Tokyo, earning a Michelin star rating, making him the first and still only American to earn a Michelin star outside of the United States.
At Babe, Jeff displays his artful finesse for progressive modernist cuisine along with boutique sophistication, with a fun dining experience as opposed to the structured world of fine dining, and an exquisite mix of flavors, textures and temperatures.
