Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok’s NEXT2 Café invites diners to chill out and experience a mouth-watering mash-up of scrumptious “Street and Seafood” every Saturday night.
 
The Saturday night brings diners the best of Bangkok’s five famous street food – the hidden gems known only by locals and a wide range of authentic international dishes highlighting premium seafood from live-cooking stations.
 
Diners can savour unlimited Maine lobsters, fresh oysters, Alaskan king crab legs and other sumptuous seafood dishes, and then fuel the night up with five different street food dishes, including Prachak Roasted Duck, Jok Prince, Go-Ang Hainanese Chicken Rice, Braised Pork Leg Rice Charoen Saeng Silom and Guay Tiew Kua Gai Worachak.
 
Two must-try street food when visiting Bangrak District are Prachak Roasted Duck, a legendary Cantonese-style Roasted Duck with a recipe passed down from generation to generation over 100 years, and Jok Prince – a Michelin Guide Bangkok Bib Gourmand congee offering a smoky aroma of rice porridge served with minced pork balls and either entrails, a raw egg or a century egg on Charoen Krung Road for more than 50 years.
 
Two other qualified street food listed in the 2018 Michelin Guide Bangkok Bib Gourmand which diners can enjoy for dinner are the popular Hainanese-style Chicken Rice of Go-Ang, which has been available in the Pratunam area for more than 40 years, and Chaozhou-style Braised Pork Leg Rice Charoen Saeng Silom featuring tender braised pork meat in a rich aromatic gravy with Chinese spices and herbs.
