Jul 17 – Aug 31
DOB Hualamphong Gallery
THE instability of the human mind is the focus of Suporn Kaewda’s latest solo exhibition, which explores how thoughts and feelings are shaped by external forces such as materialism, globalization, and capitalist desires. His abstract lithon pencil drawings on canvass feature dark, moody lines and atmospheric, liquid-like ripples – so expect pareidolia aplenty (like when you see faces in clouds, or the Virgin Mary on a piece of burnt toast).
Rama IV Rd. Open Tues-Sat 10.30am-7pm; Sun 10.30am-5.30pm (closed Mon) Tel: 02 422 2092www.ardelgallery.com
