PECHA Kucha Night was devised in Tokyo in 2003 as an event for young creators to meet, network, and show their work in public. Pecha Kucha Nights now happen in over 500 cities around the world, providing an event where people can show and share their work and passion in a relaxed way.
Do you have a story to tell?
For the next Pecha Kucha Night, Bangkok Vol 17#, the organisers are looking for people that would like to share a story. This could be an experience, a project you are working on, or a cause you are interested in. Introduce your hobby or a passion of yours, talk about an invention, an art form, a sport, a skill or anything you feel is important to be shared.
The Format
Simple. Each presentation lasts exactly 6.4min and has 20 Power Point slides. Each slide will be shown for 20 seconds (find examples at: www.pechakucha.org).
