For Bangkok food lovers, a new dining experience awaits at Rare BKK, a hidden casual chef table on Nakornchaisri Road by Chef Bam Thanachot Dolchalaikorn.
Rare BKK’s focus is on using fresh premium ingredients such as truffle, langoustine, Miyazaki Wagyu A5, Uni, and lobster. Each ingredient and cooking technique is carefully planned to maximize the flavor and freshness.
The restaurant’s ten seats offer a cozy and intimate setting, and an open kitchen enables diners to watch the chef’s team in action. The main highlight feature is Rare BKK’s signature tasting menu that changes seasonally, featuring the freshest premium ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. Food lovers will get to enjoy fine dining in a cozy homey atmosphere presented by Chef Bam and his team.
After a six-month soft opening, Rare BKK is proud to launch with the new “French Fine” 10-course tasting menu using fine Japanese ingredients such as Hotate, Ikura, sea bass, and red shrimp to create dishes inspired by French culinary classics using modern culinary techniques.
“Coming to Rare BKK is like coming over to a friend’s house. It feels like I’m inviting guests into my home, and offer creative menu that was crafted with a lot of care. Our open kitchen enables guests to see all the food being prepared, and each dish is personally presented to each table so they understand the story and inspiration behind each dish,” says Chef Bam Thanachot Dolchalaikorn.
