 | Q&A WITH TOM PECHEUX 1/ How would you describe the makeup look of the Saint Laurent Winter 20 Show? Where did your inspiration come from? The makeup of the Saint Laurent Winter 20 Show is all about quality of skin and a beautiful red lip colour. The inspiration comes directly from Anthony Vaccarello, and from the YSL Beauté makeup products that I am creating. 2/ Can you tell us the different steps to achieve this look? To achieve this look you need first a really good skincare to prep the skin. From there, a little bit of foundation, to have a very nice coverage. We just want the result to be a very flawless skin, with a matte finish. We add a little bit of Touche Éclat Shimmer Stick on the top of the cheeks. A nice eyebrow, groomed but not fake. And matte lips that we are creating with The Slim No 21. 3/ What are the must have products for this makeup look? The must-have products are Pure Shots Light Up Serum, All Hours Foundation and All Hours Concealer, All Hours Setting Powder, Touche Éclat Shimmer Stick and The Slim No 21. 4/ What makes The Slim a special product? The Slim No 21 is really special because most of the 60 models that are doing the show have asked which colour it was because they loved it. And it’s pretty rare to find a lipstick that every women will fall in love with. Also, the effect of The Slim No 21 is powerful, bold, strong, with a very matte finish but not a dry effect on the lips. |

It’s so natural that it’s very bold. The lips are so intense and powerful that you don’t need any makeup on the eyes. I think it’s great to have no eyes when the lips are so bold!
7/ Why is this makeup look so YSL?
It’s a very YSL makeup, because YSL is all about powerful women, and powerful makeup. When you have that kind of lips, you don’t really need anything else.
