Our Summer Sweet Afternoon Tea, in coordination with a luxury scented candle from Jo Malone London, is inspired by the pleasantly sweet scent of summer fruits. Along with gourmet teas, enjoy a delightful selection of sandwiches, such as a Smoked Chicken and Avocado Sandwich with red currant jelly or a Crab and Pear Sandwich with watercress, and also some tasty hot scones served with homemade English marmalade or clotted cream. Delectable sweet treats will be found in plenty as well. A light Anjou and Frangipane Sweet Pear Cake tastes like the first rays of summer sunshine, while the Saffron and Clove Poached Pears, Pastry Cream Tartlet is irresistibly alluring to the taste buds.
