H.E. Mr. Gilles Garachon, Ambassador of France to Thailand, held the French National Day reception on July 14th 2017 at the Eternity Ballroom, Pullman Bangkok King Power hotel. The event was attended by representatives from the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomats and many distinguished personalities.
This is the first French National Day reception held in celebration of the 160th anniversary of Franco-Thai diplomatic relations. The night was marked by the a cappella performance of the Thai Royal Anthem and the French national anthem “La Marseillaise” by Suanplu Chorus. The guests were also intrigued by the Open Kitchen, which offered a variety of French fusion and traditional gastronomy. Last but not least, the reception was surprised with the silk dance show accompanied by one of the greatest French songs of all time “La Vie en Rose”.
