(Bangkok – January 2024) – Ahead of Asia’s season of reunions, Mott 32 Bangkok invites patrons to usher in the Year of the Dragon with a special Chinese New Year menu featuring auspicious dishes that symbolize good fortune, wealth, prosperity and longevity. Available for lunch and dinner from 1st – 24th February 2024, the Chinese New Year menu showcases the group’s award-winning culinary philosophy under the mastery of Executive Chef Lee Man-Sing.
Guests can start the meal with a decadent Prosperity Toss (Lo Hei) Salad made with Whole Lobster, Abalone and Homemade Sauce (THB 4,200++) or Salmon Salad with Homemade Sauce (THB 2,288++), as well as ensuring prosperity for the year ahead with a delectable dish of Whole Steamed French Sea Bass drizzled with Chicken Oil and Hwa Tiao (THB 2,100++) and invite in abundance with a bowl of nourishing Bird’s Nest and Bamboo Pith Broth (THB 1,880++).
No celebration is complete without trying Chef Lee’s Crispy Duck with Taro (THB 950++); the generously portioned Crispy Yellow Chicken with Coriander (THB 780++ for half a chicken); or the auspicious combination of Crab Meat, Crab Roe and Scallops tossed with Radish and Egg White (THB 1,280++). Also perfect for sharing are such soul-warming dishes as Romaine Lettuce Heart Casserole with Minced Pork and Shrimp Paste (THB 380++), the hearty Lotus Leaf Rice with Prawn, Duck, Chicken, Conpoy, Mushroom and Egg (THB 550++) wrapped in a giant lotus leaf and served in a bamboo basket, and Wok-Fried Mud Crab with Turnip Cake and Chili (THB 3,200++).
All the dishes on the Chinese New Year menu can be enjoyed on their own or paired with the restaurant’s a la carte and signature creations, including homemade Dim Sum, the finest Barbeque Iberico Pork and 42-day Apple Wood Roasted Peking Duck, which can be enjoyed indoors or on the open-air terrace while sipping on inventive cocktails or sampling the expertly curated wines.
