Signature dishes
The menu at Nowhere restaurant focuses on Eurasian-style cuisine with a mixture of Thai flair. One must not miss signature dish is the moo-ping Pâté (B350) – a Pâté-style, Thai grilled pork topped with cilantro and served with an English muffin, pickled vegetables and crumbed pistachios. Another mouthwatering dish was the watermelon salad (B240) – a signature recipe inspired by the traditional Thai recipe made with watermelon and dried fish flakes. The watermelon slices are lightly tossed and served with fresh baby spinach, topped with feta cheese, bonito flakes and seasoned with sumac vinaigrette.
Next came the shrimp and chorizo pasta (B360) – linguine served with shrimp, chorizo, mushrooms, green chilli, garlic and coriander. This was followed by the harissa pork ribs (B529) – juicy racks of BBQ pork ribs covered with the house special, a harissa hot and spicy sauce made from North African hot chilli pepper paste that complemented the dish beautifully.

Up next came the vegetarian delights, including the pumpkin pizza (B420) – a thin-crusted pizza topped with roasted pumpkin, pumpkin seeds, shallow, black pepper, taleggio, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Served afterward was the mushroom puttanesca (B320) – spaghetti served with mushrooms, grilled eggplants, black olives, capers, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and basil on top.
There are a number of great desserts to indulge in, as well, including A Mess of Nowhere (B220) – a meringue with dark chocolate and rum sauce served with yoghurt cream and fresh, sweet and sour strawberries. Then we had the poached pear (B280) – five hour-long, red wine poached pears with the best selection of spices and served with homemade vanilla ice cream: a classic French recipe. Finally, there was the apple crisp with homemade salted caramel ice cream (B229) – a baked apple with twisted apple crumble served with cream cheese, oats crumble filling, vanilla sauce and salted caramel ice cream. |
