25th Anniversary of Iconic Restaurant “Trader Vic’s Bangkok” at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort

Home of the Original Mai Tai celebrated its 25th Anniversary in a Hawaiian-themed party on the riverside, led by Mr. Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotel Group and COO of Minor International, Mr. Rhett Rosen, COO of Trader Vic’s Worldwide and Mr. Mark O’Sullivan, General Manager of Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. All distinguished guests enjoyed the live music by Cuban band, Hawaiian performance, Tiki-henna painting, original Mai Tai and Trader Vic’s specialties during this pleasurable party.   
Trader Vic’s Bangkok, is located in the lush tropical gardens of Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort, offers the best Family Sunday Brunch along Chao Phraya River, Original Mai Tai since 1944, Trader Vic’s Deck - alfresco area on the riverside, Trader Vic’s Chinese Oven for a unique dining experience and a perfect venue for party by the river.    
The original Trader Vic’s began in the late 1930s in Oakland, California by a young entrepreneur called Victor Jules Bergeron, Jr. originally serving up light meals and beer for a nickel, the operation quickly evolved into a South Pacific-themed restaurant that offered guests “complete escape and relaxation”. Today, Trader Vic’s can be found in 18 cities worldwide, each outlet keeping the original vision alive with richly decorated interiors adorned with island handicrafts and artefacts.
