Traveloka, the leading online travel agency (OTA) and the top and fastest-growing technology company in Southeast Asia, has organized “Traveloka presents Free Trip at LALA MUKHA TENTED RESORT KHAO YAI”.

The press was invited to join the trip to Khao Yai, one of the most popular tourist destinations near Bangkok, in this green season to experience the stays at Lala Mukha Tented Resort Khao Yai, the Glamping safari-style tents, perfect for urbanites who want to seek relaxation in the natural spaces. This marks the first-ever press trip organized by Traveloka.

On 16 August 2018 at 9 am., we left Bangkok and headed to Khao Yai which took us around two hours. With a focus on food and luxurious stays, we made our first stop at Janpha Restaurant, a very popular restaurant in Khao Yai that nobody wants to miss.
After getting our stomachs filled, we made our way to the resort for the press members to relax in the middle of the natural surroundings. We were staying at an air-conditioned luxurious tent-style resort or Glamping resort at Lala Mukha Tented Resort Khao Yai. The place has a modern design with an essence of the safari and the room features fully-equipped facilities, making it an interesting accomodation for those who want to stay close to nature and indulge full relaxation during their sumptuous stays.

The resort features three types of accommodation zones; Eco Safari Tents, eco-friendly tents with shared bathrooms; Deluxe Suvanna Tents, tents with private bathrooms and Loft Tree House, a treehouse-style room for guests travelling with families.

Besides organizing this complimentary trip, to express our appreciations to the members of the press who have always shown generous support for Traveloka, we have also held a lucky draw activity to win prizes worth more than 50,000 baht, including Bangkok-Singapore tickets from Malaysia Airlines, cash voucher for flight and hotel bookings through Traveloka and other premiums.

Enhance the beauty of your eyes in your own natural way

Johnson & Johnson Vision today introduced the latest addition to its daily disposable beauty contact lenses category with an aim to boost confidence of Thai women through their natural eye colors. The beauty contact lens designs are inspired by the insight of Asian women which shows that most of them prefer beauty contact lenses that support of female empowerment and individuality rather than changing the way they look. Johnson & Johnson’s beauty contact lenses come with 7 designs for various styles of women.

7 Popular Thai actresses and celebrities including Maprang - Kannarun Wongkajonklai, Mint - Chalida Vijitvongthong, Namtan - Chalita Suansane, Birdie - Parva Nakasai, Sita Chutiphaworakan, Gina - Virahya Pattarachokchai, and Bubee - Vareenithi Kanpaibool, also joined this event to represent 7 styles of women and share their natural beauty tips including their favourite items to help boost their confidence.
Ms. Saowanee Punkajornwet, Business Unit Director – Vision Care, Johnson & Johnson Vision said, “We believe that every woman has their own unique strength and beauty, and it all starts with their eyes. We have been continuously doing surveys on Asian women’s needs, in order to develop products that rightly answer to their demands. That is why we have come up with an idea to design the beauty contact lens that feature color tone which is most similar to natural iris pattern, while  adding depth and greater definition to enhance natural beauty. Right now, we have 7 designs of beauty contact lens, and the latest design that we would like to introduce this year is “Radiant Chic” that lets you express your beauty chic in your own unique way.”

“Furthermore, we found that modern women do not choose contact lenses only to enhance the beauty of their eyes, but they also care about their eye health. Our contact lenses come with Lacreon™ Technology, which embeds a moisture-rich wetting and creates a cushion of moisture of up to 20 hours for beautiful and healthy eyes that shine all day. Also, for eye health conscious, the Beauty-Wrapped-in-Comfort™ Technology helps to ensure that the pigment layers are sealed between clear lens material to prevent any color pigments from coming into contact with the eyes, whilst does not block oxygen transmitabiltiy to conea. Lastly, the UV-blocking technology helps protect the covered portions of your eyes from the transmission of the sun’s harmful rays like UVA and UVB” Ms. Saowanee added.
Maprang - Kannarun Wongkajonklai, a famous actress who represents the Radiant Chic design said, “I wear contact lens mainly because I am short-sighted, but I also wear them to enhance my eyes beauty. I choose contact lens that lightens, contrasts, enlarges my natural iris and blend in with my natural eyes color. Besides, I am proud of having characteristic of traditional Thainess, and I would love to keep it that way. I have tried the Radiant Chic lens from Johnson & Johnson Vision and I love it, as the golden- bronze color and design make my eyes look illuminating especially in the light. Together with the eye makeup that helps accentuate the look, I feel my unique chic. But what I like the most is its naturalness. Whenever I wear it, people around me always say that my eyes look more beautiful. This lens definitely enhances my natural beauty rather than changing the way I look, and its moisture cushion provides exceptional comfort for my eyes, from morning until night.”

Mint - Chalida Vijitvongthong, a famous actress who represents the Radiant Sweet design said, “I believe our eyes can express ourselves better than anything else. And, I believe that every woman has their own unique style and beauty. For me, the style and makeup that I like are quite feminine. When it comes to makeup, I always choose contact lens that makes my eyes look brighter and more radiant. That is why I always go for contact lens with brown tone which is similar to my natural iris pattern, and Radiant Sweet contact lens from Johnson & Johnson Vision truly answers to my needs.           I love the design with espresso brown limbal ring blending with tan highlight for a sweet endearing look. Plus, it is extremly comfort, and also protects my eyes from UV rays. I definitely would recommend this beauty contact lens to all the women out there.”
The daily disposable beauty contact lenses range from Johnson & Johnson are available in 7 designs including Natural Shine™ (Dark grey with glittering gold shine), Vivid (Brown), Accent (Black), Radiant Bright™ (Rich mocha limbal ring blending with brown and amber tones), Radiant Charm™ (Dark grey limbal ring blending with rich honey highlight), Radiant Sweet™ (Espresso brown limbal ring blending with tan highlight), and the latest design Radiant Chic™ (Dark brown limbal ring blending with lighter golden-bronze patterns).

A decade of Asava’s timeless elegance, bringing passion alive through creative design

10/8/2018

Asava was born from strong passion, dreams and dedication of Polpat Asavaprapha, designer and founder of Asava Group, a successful fashion and lifestyle empire which brings passion, elegance, and self-discovery to life through the brand’s creative design. Love, faith and dedication has resulted in Asava’s firm position and unrivalled quality over the past decade.
The origin of Asava was back on August 8, 2008, starting from a small room with three people who had strong passion and big dreams. Together, they created unique pieces based on three words: Urban, Sophisticated and Realistic. Urban reflects urban women’s forward-thinking attitude. Sophisticated is simple elegance of women. Realistic is how the brand is firmly rooted in reasons and trials and errors, as it goes through many challenging phases. With experience, two more keywords emerged: Intelligence and Authentic. These five words are the definition of Asava women, and have remained the core keywords of the brand until today. From that small beginning, today, Asava’s empire has grown and new brands have emerged under the Asava Group. Asv celebrates women’s liveliness and modern lifestyle.  Uniform by Asava brings together forms, functions and fashion, introducing a new type of uniform. Sava Dining is a place for hobnobbing, where palates are pleased and memories are created. Last but not least, White Asava encapsulates understated beauty of a blessed union.

To celebrate Asava’s 10th anniversary, Polpat Asavaprapha presents a grand celebration that not only highlights the success of Asava but also recognizes the success of Thai fashion industry, achieved through Thai people’s creativity and talent. These stories are portrayed in a short film titled 080808-Faithfully Yours. The film illustrates dreams and talents of Thai people through Pen-Ek Ratanaruang’s directing. Additionally, a special collection will be displayed, highlighting Asava’s iconuc silhouettes and famous pieces from over the past decade such as tailored suits, shirtdresses, cape dresses and trench dresses. Some are modified and given a fun twist with colors and textures, resulting in a collection that truly represents Asava.
Polpat talks about his decade-long journey in the fashion industry that Asava is like a person who has grown and evolved through his mistakes and experiences. The past ten years came with lessons to be learned and opportunities to sharpen his skills in design and management. Today, people see the value of Asava, as well as its philosophy of Urban, Sophisticated, Realistic, Intelligence and Authentic aesthetics. Asava is graceful, effortless, and timeless, and these qualities are more distinctive each passing year.  That is the pride of Asava. On the occasion of Asava’s 10th anniversary, he chooses to do something different - creating a short film to spread the word about Asava to non-fashion people. In collaboration with talented director Pen-ek, this story portrays loyalty and faith, which is the foundation of everything. Polpat, as the leader of this family, wants to take everyone to the same dream destination, while enjoying everything along the way without feeling forced. They will explore new directions and think outside the box, while remaining true to its philosophy. This is a challenge, but one that they can definitely overcome.

group called ‘She’s Mercedes Thailand’ to share inspirational stories online and can serve as a centralized platform for forward-thinking women to exchange views and experiences. It is also for updates regarding the She’s Mercedes global platform as well as workshops.”
Ms. Chortip Songwatana Vudhibhong, Bibury Coln’s owner explained her behind-the-scene experiences in management from the first day until her brand became internationally recognized: “Nothing can stop you from reaching your goal if you do not give up. Nonetheless, you must encounter failure if you really want to get what you want. You can learn lots of things from your mistakes and lessons from your errors can benefit you in a long run.”

Ms. Maneerut Anulomsombut, CEO of Garena Online (Thailand) Limited, shared her thinking that shapes her profession milestone: Garena started off as a small digital startup through the determination and unyielding minds of only few people despite the struggles that almost made us stop trying. Now we are a trusted name among consumers which allows us to expand the business. We realized that success is endless. Moreover, accomplishments are infinite and we can learn or grow as long as we keep learning. A new window of opportunity can always be opened if you have strong commitment and willpower.”

Ms. Rarin Thongma, founder of O&B online shoes and accessories brand, unveiled her courageous path to drive her brand forward: “I think one should not be afraid to do something. If you want to start your own business, you may be warned or discouraged by others but you must be certain on your plan and execute it with no hesitation. Voices from others may frighten you but your inner voice, if you are determined, will keep asking you if you would regret not following your own dream for the rest of your life. Before O&B became a trusted brand by customers from
every corner of the world, I listened to my inner voice and it is my true encouragement as it always motivates me to do whatever it takes to build O&B and tackle all problems.”

Ms. Panida Iemsirinoppakul, founding editor of Yayee Publishing House, revealed her outside-the-box thinking to differentiate her publishing house: “Success does not necessarily associate with business. Sometimes it is also about how to make people around you happy. There are many people who think that I have a gift in writing and telling interesting stories, but it is actually more about imagination and creativity. Therefore, we should always fill ourselves with new inspirations and search for different story-telling angles to make our stories even more intriguing. I truly hope that every book that I have written will more or less create happiness and trigger inspirations in readers.”
