“On April 29th, The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok donates 3,000 handmade masks to SOS, a charity organization in Bangkok, to support them in their effort to provide masks to communities that are not able to get ahold of these essential items. Each mask was hand assembled and crafted with the care by associates from all divisions in the hotel. From housekeeping to the General Manager, everyone was involved in the design and crafting of the masks.

In these turbulent times, The Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok continues to find new ways to support the local community and share its spirit to serve with all of those who may need it.

With Thailand and the rest of the world facing untold hardships in the wake of the Covid-19, good news can be hard to find.

However, Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, Riverside is changing that trend with a combination of charitable donations to organisations in need, with staff and students pulling together to bring some joy back to the community. 

Sea (Thailand), led by Ms. Maneerut Anulomsombut (2nd from the left) - Chief Executive Officer of Sea (Thailand), and its business units include Garena (Thailand), Shopee (Thailand), and SeaMoney (Thailand), had recently donated 2 million baht to Ramathibodi Foundation to purchase essential medical equipment for use in treating coronavirus patients and protecting the medical teams’ welfare. On this occasion, Professor Piyamitr Sritara (Center) –  the President of the Executive Committee, Ramathibodi Foundation had joined the scene to receive
the donation at the Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital.

Sea (Thailand), as the internet platform company operating in Thailand, aims to support SMEs and consumers with our strength. Therefore, we are determined to take part in battling with COVID-19 in Thailand.
