SEEN Restaurant & Bar’s monthly rooftop parties bring the hottest DJs from around the world to Bangkok. The October edition brought the roof down with the globetrotting DJ Rae.
 
Brit beauty DJ Rae is also a singer, songwriter and producer. She first signed with Defected Records with the Kings of Tomorrow and has since gone on to release no. 1 dance hits. With her unique vocals and stage presence, she has performed around the world, including at
Glastonbury and Ibiza.
 
DJ Rae performed for the first time at SEEN as part of her Asia tour. Her next stops include Café del Mar in Phuket and the Moto GP afterparty in Kuala Lumpur.

First, gorgeous celebrity, Vareenithi Kanpaibool, said, ‘December is a my most special month as it’s also my birthday month. I generally find tourist attraction and activity to do with family and friends annually. This year I plan to visit Switzerland and Italy with my friends and our main activity is skiing which is my favorite activity. I will start in Switzerland and continue in Italy to have fun and give a challenge to myself.'

Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, led by Mr. Daniel Simon, General Manager (3rd right) together with Hotel Management Team presented a donation of THB 400,000 to Professor Tongthong Chandransu (3rd left), Deputy Chairman of the Friends In Need (of "PA") Volunteers Foundation, recently at the Friends In Need (of "PA") Volunteers Foundation, Thai Red Cross. The money was raised from the sponsors’ donations from the Christmas Tree Charity Project 2018, organised by Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.

Hooters held a 36th anniversary celebration at the Silom branch, as a thank-you to customers for their support during the past year.  In the event, Hooters Asia also launched its breast cancer campaign -  #Giveahoot.

Hooters had created a special "Pink Drink Menu" which served at the event along with new Crispy Chicken Buckets!   “Pink drink menu” sales will be donated to fund the breast cancer research in Thailand, with a target of 1 million baht from special activities at its 6 branches nationwide.
  
James Edmund Lowman, Chief Executive of Destination Eats, a franchise owner of Hooters Asia, said: “On this year’s 36th anniversary of the restaurant business that was born in the United States, the company aims to raise funds to support our breast cancer campaign.  More than 420 worldwide Hooters locations are joining the launch of its pink campaign, named #GiveaHoot, which promotes breast cancer awareness.  We aim to continually support this project and have donated over $2 million to the Breast Cancer Project since 2005.” Mr. Lowman continued: “Every location does something different. We like celebrate this year by doing something exciting and giving our happy customers some free food and drinks to thank them for their support. Our Breast cancer campaign takes place during October, and we are using our 36th anniversary to launch the pink campaign.  We aim to raise 1,000,000 Baht through various events at every outlet”.

All Hooter girls will be dressed in Pink this month to show their support along with the usual Hooters hospitality as they serve up delicious food, especially our signature wings.

On Friday, 11th October, AKSARA Collection (The SIS Kata, Kata Sea Breeze Resort and Patra Mansion), led by Khun Phanwara Phatharaworanee, Assistant Managing Director, The management team and team members planted mangrove trees at Makham Bay, Panwa, Phuket. This activity aimed to help increase the number of mangrove-forested areas to maintain the balance of mangrove ecosystems.

National Innovation Agency (Public Organization) or NIA, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna and City of Vienna, organized "Bangkok - Vienna Innovation District Exhibition" on October 6th-17th, 2019 at Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall, Bangkok, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Austria. They aim to expand the network in smart city development in Thailand and Austria in order to share knowledge, and increase the movements on area-based innovation.
 
Dr. Pun-Arj Chairatana, NIA Executive Director said, "NIA, the Royal Thai Embassy in Vienna and the City of Vienna have been working together in several dimensions, especially in building the knowledge network in innovation district development continuously.
