While Christmas is still a few months away yet, now is the perfect time to start preparing the fruits that go into our festive stolen cake – a tradition we like to uphold here at Centara Grand at CentralWorld every year.
With this in mind, our annual Fruit Mixing Ceremony took place as normal in December on the ground floor of the hotel. In attendance was Chairman of the Board Suthikiati Chirathivat, together with Thirayuth Chirathivat, Chief Executive Officer, and other management team members who contributed to the ceremonial pouring over a mixture of fruits, nuts and spices.
The mixture will now infuse with the alcohol over the next few months before being used as the main ingredient in our Christmas cake. This results in a richer flavor, moister texture, and, of course, a welcome nip of booze!
You can look forward to an array of cakes, like Italian Panettone, English Fruitcake and Stollen, which will be available to buy from Zing Bakery in December 2020.
