A Memorable Start to the Festive Season

Christmas is a time for giving and sharing, and for several years now the Pathumwan Princess Hotel has offered our guests the opportunity to help disadvantaged children in Thailand.

We invite guests to select a child’s wishing card from our Wishing Tree and then grant the wish by buying the hoped-for gift. This year, from 6th December - 25th December we are supporting disadvantaged children from the Thai Red Cross Children’s Home, under the royal patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

This project was launched on the evening of Thursday 6th December when Mr. Stefan Heintze, the hotel’s General Manager, welcomed VIP guests  to our festive season, including Guest of Honor Associate Professor Doctor Nuanchan Prabhpal and children from the Thai Red Cross Children’s Home as well as TV celebrities Khun Kanokkorn Jaicheun, Miss Thailand World 2007, Khun Karnrawee Sritraphan, Miss Thailand Lumiere International 2018 and Khun Rusameekae Fargerlund. The celebrities helped decorate the Christmas Wishing Tree with ornaments after which the children hung their wishing cards.
 
Mr. Stefan Heintze, His Excellency Dato’ Jojie M C Samuel and spouse Madam Datin Catherina Cherian Samuel, Associate Professor Doctor Nuanchan Prabhpal and Khun Priya Angsuworn then turned on our spectacular Christmas lights, our resident singer, Tere Howard entertained with her repertoire of season favorites, and, of course, Santa Clause made an appearance - the Festive Season has truly arrived at Pathumwan Princess Hotel!
