The performance, “Celebration of a Spectacular Journey”, brought together songs from several languages and cultures that was creatively performed in addition to shows and poems by students in Years 1 to 13 (ages 6-18) The performance perfectly reflected Bangkok Prep’s 11 school values (Internationally minded, Respect, Problem Solver, Active Learners, Honest, Caring, Team Workers, Responsible, Resourceful, Communicators, and Community Minded) that has been sustained over the last 15 years, before closing with a grand firework show.
Bangkok International Preparatory & Secondary School encourages a holistic educational style that believes to provide students with strong and comprehensive life foundation in a well-rounded aspect. Bangkok Prep has also been recognized for being an eco-school by the Eco-Schools Organization in cooperation with the United Nation (UN) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and has received a ‘Green Eco School’ award as a result. Bangkok Prep is the first school in Thailand and second international school in the world to receive this recognition from the Eco-Schools Global Organisation. In addition to this, Bangkok Prep has received the ‘Green Flag’ status; the highest award given by the Eco-Schools Organization for two consecutive years through the hard work and diligence towards environmental activities at the school including a set-up of an Eco Team at school, implementation of waste segregation, reduction in the use of plastic bags and investment of solar panels to reduce energy .
