Bangkok Hash House Harriers mark their 2,000th run

PAST and present members of The Bangkok Hash House Harriers (BH3) marked their 2,000th weekly run with a celebration dinner at the British Club Bangkok. Photos and memories of past runs since BH3’s inauguration 38 years ago together with some of the most stirring ‘On Ons’ were shared by members of what is unquestionably the city’s premier hash. Several of those present at the dinner could trace their participation in the earliest BH3 runs way back in 1977. Others who no longer live in Thailand came from overseas especially to join this milestone occasion. The Hash, which is run every Saturday, with trails usually in the bush to avoid road running, is popular amongst expatriates from many countries as well as fun-loving Thais
