Chalita Hongsakul, talked about the objective of this launch that, “This is a special collection that we have opportunity to work with Taew as co-designer again. She has absolute character of modern lady, with active lifestyle, health-consciousness. She also loves to travel, and try new activities as Wakingbee’s idealistic lady. Thus the main idea in the making of this collection is generated from her interesting lifestyle, reflecting through new format of activewear that also fits for water activities to add variety to the function to match with active lifestyle in which Taew has created the design in every process.”

While Taew-Natapohn Tameeruks added the main design concept for this collection that, “I have quite many activities. I usually exercise in my free time, from weight training, pilates, or swimming. But if I have more time, I will go diving as I love the beauty of under ocean world. According to my multiple activities, I found activewear and swimwear are similar in the function. Thus I came up with an idea to design activewear that’s also proper for water sports to serve the needs of modern girls who also enjoy many activities.”

The signature of collection ‘Wakingbee x Taew Swim and Sweat’, apart from the special function of fabric texture that can protect UV ray, bacteria, sea water resistance quality, flexibility, quick-dry and air-flow features that suit  exercising and swimming, it’s also distinctive in the design which is adaptable to support various activities. Highlight items are cropped sport bra which can perfectly support the body and can be worn with high-waisted swimming pants that come with removable shorts on the outer layer for ladies two enjoy two looks in one piece, or on the day to chill out with walking along the beach, they can match a chic cross–shaped sport bra with ankle pants in light-weight fabric perfectly. Besides, enjoy endless mix & match styling with leggings, tank top, and shorts.

The brand also cares for little details in the design, from adding extra hooks to the bra to be worn easier, removable   sponge pads to pants with liner added to generate more comfort in the movement and the hidden pocket. Thus each look can support activities from exercise to aquatic sports without worry.  Highlight colors of this collection are maroon, blue, coral, black, white, and nude inspired by waves and the beauty of reefs and marine life transmitted as a  special print, newly-designed for this collection exclusively.
The celebrities who attended the show also share their tips to keep body stay fit and how to choose activewear. Firstly, beautiful girl, Ploypayap Srikarnchana, said, ‘I enjoy working out on daily basis, and make it a kind of lifestyle that I have to follow the routine everyday. The key is we must have fun with exercise and than we feel we want to do it daily. Even when we see the results when we have nice body and can fit in our clothes very well without feeling uncomfortable, and also feel healthy without regular sickness, we feel great and keep doing it. I will try not to do too heavy workout, normally focusing on weight training. When I have limited time permit I will do aerobic dance for an hour each day. Choosing activewear is also important. I will choose one with high flexibility but with lightweight fabric and high capability absorb sweat that can be worn to do variety of outdoors and water activities.

Next to a socialite celebrity, Haruethai Jayant Na Ayudhaya, said, ‘I regularly go to gym in my free time. Previously I didn’t like to work out and when I returned from studying master’s degree in England I wasn’t confident with my body. Thus I started to hit the gym and do serious exercise to keep my body in shape and feel healthier. Even I look petite, but I have larger hips so I focus on this part to make it looks firm. I will select activewear that can fit well to the body to support my exercise. And it should be styled in mix & match with my daily wear. For example, I can wear a sport bra in nice design with denim jacket for my casual look to hangout  and enjoy activities with confidence.’

A smart lady, Arisa Aswanichakorn said, ‘I personally enjoy exercise which I can stay in place, such as joining yoga class, cycling. My most favorite is pilates as it helps to let muscles work in balance and relieve body pain. It also   firms the body very well with greater health. I will choose active wear with light fabric and air-flow, with multi-function to wear for both outdoor and water sports. The print on outfit also helps to enhance personality and confidence that makes us enjoy exercise even more.’

Lastly, a hot body trainer, Manassanan Naklada, said, ‘I normally exercise regularly to keep my body firm‘, and I can show my body in beautiful outfit confidently. I will control my diet in complementary. I usually workout 5 days per week and it takes 2 hours each time, focusing on body weight and added with cardio. I may also dance and do  the boxing as well. My tips in choosing activewear, firstly I will select the design that can support my breasts to stay in place all the time in every movement. The fabric should be highly flexible and doesn’t tear off when I jump, including ability to absorb the sweat and air flow quality. The outcome of exercise, apart from having good health, we will also feel more confident with our body.’
