Millennium Hilton Bangkok Appoints Tim Tate As General Manager

Millennium Hilton Bangkok has welcomed Tim Tate as its new General Manager. In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall management of the hotel, driving the hotel’s growth through building strong team leadership and robust strategy to bring the highest standards of hospitality to new and returning guests of Millennium Hilton Bangkok.
Tim brings his genuine passion for hospitality and a wealth of managerial experiences to Millennium Hilton Bangkok, having held several leadership roles with over 18 years in hotels across Vietnam, Dubai, Maldives and Thailand. Prior to this new appointment, Tim was the General Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton in Phuket Banthai Resort, where he spearheaded many hotel projects and was well-recognized for his hands-on leadership in the day-to-day operations as well as inspiring direction and vision which help the team thrive in providing exemplary service experience to guests

Tim Tate is on a mission to ensure that the Hilton hospitality experience is revealed in its finest colors, consistently and across the board. Overseeing the management of Millennium Hilton Bangkok will also see Tim working with the one-of-a-kind dining, bar and relaxation venues hosted within the 32-storey landmark hotel, which rests by the bank of the Chao Phraya River.

Located in the heart of the riverside district, Millennium Hilton Bangkok is minutes away from Bangkok’s most iconic temples and historical sites. Adjacent to ICONSIAM, one of the largest malls in Asia, and accessible by boat and Skytrain, it is close enough to connect, yet peaceful enough to escape into an urban resort with unique dining experiences.

Having inherited the supervisory role within this fascinating location, Tim Tate invites guests to visit the Flow restaurant, which features a riverside outdoor terrace - an all-weather venue presenting an unforgettable view of the Chao Phraya river and Bangkok’s cityscape.

This all-day alfresco dining experience is available alongside the lobby-based dining cafe - The Lantern, set to welcome lovers of fine blended teas and exquisite coffee experiences. The ThreeSixty Rooftop Bar provides the perfect setting to relax and unwind, while sipping handcrafted cocktails and chilled champagne in the unbeatable 360 degree panoramic vistas.
