This year the hotel took the event to another stride by incorporating its green effort initiatives by appointing for the first time the children present at the event as “green ambassadors” to encourage them to understand and encourage these young children to recycle, reduce and reuse, in line with the Melaka state Government’s green initiative. Having won the green hotel award for 3 years consecutively, the hotel had launched its green initiatives for the year with the Earth Day event held in April and this effort will continue on throughout the year sealing the hotel’s commitment to go green which is also part of the Wyndham Worldwide core initiatives. A series of ‘green’ games were held during the dinner ending with the awarding of certificates to the children for which YABhg Puan Hajjah Dalilah received on their behalf from the General Manager.
