Nicolai Mitchell Appointed General Manager of two outstanding properties in its Sheraton Hotels & Resorts portfolio located in Thailand’s renowned resort town of Hua Hin, namely Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa
and Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas, effective 8 August 2022.
A German national and highly experienced hospitality professional, Nicolai first explored the world of hospitality in 2002 at the Tivoli Ocean Park in Madeira, Portugal, which triggered his passion for our business. Nicolai embarked on his professional journey after graduating in Hospitality Management and Entrepreneurship in Bad Ueberkingen, Germany in 2008. He started his Marriott tenure with an internship role in 2009 at the Marriott Hua Hin Resort & Spa, which was followed by F&B Management roles with Le Meridien Bangkok and Le Meridien Khao Lak Resort & Spa.
In 2016, Nicolai moved to Cambodia as Director of Operations to open the Courtyard by Marriott Siem Reap Resort, and contributed to the team securing multiple workplace awards while delivering best in class guest satisfaction scores across all key metrics.
Nicolai’s most recent role was at the JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, where he served as Resident Manager from July 2018 and as Acting General Manager from June 2020 until January 2022 where he succeeded in improving overall performance. With his passion for people and excellence, we are confident that he will lead and drive the growth and achievement of both resorts, as well as continue his journey at Sheraton Hua Hin Resort and Spa and Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas.
