 | The Emporium and The EmQuartier shopping complexes, together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Citi Credit Cards, and True Corporation, welcomed the auspicious Year of the Rat with “Emporium EmQuartier Chinese New Year 2020.” The grand celebration featured Dragon Emperor, the reimagined golden dragon statue presented according to the ancient Chinese belief, accompanied by the spectacular performance of contemporary Chinese flying acrobat, and show-stopping sights and sounds, led by Thailand’s superstar sweethearts, Nadech Kugimiya and Yaya-Urassaya Sperbund, blessing the passersby with prosperity as the couple descend from heaven near Quartier Parc, M floor, The EmQuartier shopping complex. In addition to the show, this year marked the debut for “EmQuartier Chinese Street Legends,” an atmospheric replica of an ancient Chinese town for guests to enjoy. The seasonal market was located in the heart of Sukhumvit, at Quartier Avenue, G floor, The EmQuartier shopping complex. Guests have also enjoyed special seasonal menus from leading dining establishments at Helix Sky Dining, 6 - 9 floors, with over 50 restaurants offering auspicious Chinese menus at The EmQuartier shopping complex. |
